A california cypress along a trail in Point Lobos juxtaposed against the colors of the surrounding woods provide an intriguing contrast drawing the viewer in. None captured Point Lobos better than Edward Weston and Ansel Adams but even today the national park draws photographers seeking to put their own personal fingerprint on the iconic images. This image combines manipulation of the greenery to give the background a unique feel.
