Facing The Island Takes Best In Show Honors In Focus On Figures Competition

Judges at the 2016 "Focus on Figures" show at the North River Arts Society in Marshfield Hills MA have selected Wayne King's image "Facing the Island" as "Best in Show" recipient for this years competition. The ripples around the ankles of the figure capture the rays of the rising sun and add a time dimension to the general mood of the image. " I was very excited to have three images selected for this show" said King.Facing the Island was my favorite of them so I think that the judges selected well and I am honored to have had this image chosen as "BEST OF SHOW".
