The Shoulder of Africa
A bare shoulder on a woman carrying a bucket down the streets of Kayar Senegal provides a composite of color, form and sensual mystery in this manipulated color image, output in a limited edition of 10 prints,signed, dated and with a certificate of authenticity. The image captured 5th place honors in the 2018 Contemporary Art Gallery Competition - Annapolis MD. Also chosen as honorable mention awardee in the 10th Annual “Figurative” 2020 Art Exhibition, Light Space and Time Gallery, of Palm Springs, California. The image is used for creation of a digitally initialed open edition also but otherwise archived and kept only for historic purposes and publications.
